ICASSP 2026, in collaboration with the IEEE Signal Processing Society (IEEE-SPS) Education Board, is offering ETON Talks at the conference. This program consists of lectures that offer an overview of significant advancements and emerging topics in signal processing. The Expert-to-Non-Expert Talk (ETON) series is designed for both students and industry professionals to bridge knowledge gaps. These lectures are delivered by the original inventors or leading experts in the field, providing valuable insights and fostering a deeper understanding of cutting-edge developments

ETON Talks Proposal Deadline: October 22, 2025
ETON Talks Acceptance Notification:   December 17, 2025

General Information 

Duration: 1 hour in-person presentation

Target Audience: 1) students, 2) industry professionals, 3) non-experts

Availability: ETON Talks will only be available for in person attendance and the presenters are required to deliver the talks in person during ICASSP 2026 with no virtual components. All ETON Talks will be recorded for potential future use.

Essential information to be included in an ETON Talk proposal:

  1. Talk title
  2. Brief abstract (200 words max) and outline
  3. Presenter name, short bio (IEEE author style) for use when promoting the talk, and CV or link to website of the presenter

The selection of ETON Talks for presentation at the conference will be based on the timeliness and appeal of the topic and track record (including research and experience) of the presenter.
